Name: JAPANESE EARLY SHOWA PERIOD COMB SET WITH SHELL AND SILVER INLAYS

Description: Japanese Early Showa Period comb set with shell and silver inlays and silver, red and gold lacquer. The comb set has shell inlays in the flower buds and the mountain sides. The beautifully designed comb set represents the changing of season with the cherry blossoms, the bamboo, the mountain sides and the maple leaves. The comb measures 3 15/16" long, 1 15/16" tall and 3/16" thick. The Kogai measures 6 13/16" long. Excellent condition with some very minor inlay losses. (dorusu)
