Description: Japanese early 20th century lacquer bowl. The bowl was originally used by a lacquer artist to hold lacquer in. There are years and years of layers of lacquer. The inside of the bowl has been polished and the outside has been left as original. The bowl measures 4 13/16" tall and 8 1/2" in diameter. (rukasu)
