Description: Japanese 20th century earthenware tea bowl. The tea bowl has an unusual DARUMA design. The head and shoulder of DARUMA is done in great detail on the side of the bowl. The eye "balls" roll around in the sockets. The bowl is stamped on the bottom by the artist MATSUSHIMA. The bowl measures 3 3/8" tall, 4 3/4" in diameter at the top and 2" in diameter at the base.
