Name: JAPANESE LATE 19TH CENTURY LACQUERED WOODEN PAIR OF CANDLESTICKS

Description: Japanese late 19th century pair of gorgeous hand carved wooden and lacquered candlesticks. The pair was originally covered in a gold leaf or gold lacquer, however almost all of the gold has been worn off. The wide base and top is done in a chrysanthemum blossom shape with 16 petals. Comes with pair of traditional Japanese candles. The candlesticks measure 20" tall, 5 3/8" diameter at the base and 3 1/2" diameter at top. The candles measure about 5" tall and 1" in diameter.
