Description: Japanese Meiji Period bronze vase with Koi carp design done in relief. The vase has a total of 4 carp swimming around the vase and going toward plum blossoms that have fallen into the water. The eyes of the carp are done in inlaid gold and the blossoms are done in silver and gold. The vase is signed ICHINAN by artist. The artist's chop mark is also done in inlaid gold. Comes with wooden storage box. The vase measure 9 1/2" tall by 9" in diameter. (idene)
