Description: Japanese Mid 20th century heavy beige glaze tea bowl by NAKAMURA BAIZAN II. Wonderfully made KUTANI-YAKI tea bowl. Nakamura Baizan was born in 1907. He was active in the Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture area of Japan. You can see the finger prints from when the bowl was dipped into the glaze. Comes with TOMOBAKO, original artist signed wooden storage box. The tea bowl measures 4 1/2" in diameter and 3" tall. Signed and stamped on outside of box, BAIZAN.
