Japanese Meiji Period lacquered comb. The base of the comb is lacquered in gold and brown lacquer with hawk and pine design. The comb has wonderful carved design of a hawk on each side with small gold inlays. Unsigned. Rubbing on side edges. The comb measures 3 3/8" long by 1 5/8" tall.
