Description: Japanese 20th century earthenware tea bowl. The tea bowl has a beautiful salmon pink colored crackle glaze. The deeply thrown bowl has a raised plum design on the outside done in dark brown and white glazes. The branches of the plum tree continue over into the inner side and there is a nightingale resting on one of the branches. The bowl is stamped on the bottom. The bowl measures 3 3/16" tall and 4 3/8" in diameter at the widest.
