Description: Japanese Meiji period tortoiseshell comb. The comb has been lacquered with gold lacquer and then carved in a Chinese landscape scene. There are also some small gold inlays on the pine tree needle areas. The comb measures 3 3/8" long and 1 5/8" tall. There is some slight rubbing and some insect damage to the teeth.
