Description: Japanese 20th-21st century ORIBE tray by TAKAUCHI SHUGO. TAKAUCHI SHUGO was born in Tokyo in Showa 12, or 1937 and he presently works in Mashiko, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, where he has a kiln. He has exhibited around Japan numerous times, including 4 times at the prestigious DENTO KOGEI exhibition. The tray comes with TOMOBAKO, or original artist signed wooden storage box. The tray measures 16" wide, 16" deep and 2 1/8" tall. (nenesu)
