Description: Japanese mid 20th century bamboo flower basket by Yagisawa Keizo. Yagisawa Keizo is a famous basket maker who also became an Imperial Household artist, making many baskets for formal presentations from the Japanese Royal Family. This basket is woven very finely. The basket measures 14 1/4" tall, 7" wide and 6 1/2" in diameter. The basket comes with its TOMOBAKO, or original artist signed wooden storage box. (nodene)
