Description: Japanese 21st century (circa 2009) ceramic vase by ceramic artist ICHINO MASAHIKO. ICHINO was born in 1962 in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. He originally studied with IMAI MASAYUKI and his father ICHINO SHINSUI. He began to work independently in 1978. He has exhibited throughout Japan and also around the world, such as FInland, United Kingdom, China, Taiwan and South Korea. The vase comes with TOMOBAKO, or original artist signed wooden storage box. The vase also comes with TOMOGIRE, or artist stamped wrapping cloth. The vase measures 14 3/4" tall, 8 1/2" wide and 7" deep. (kanesu)
