Description: Japanese late 20th century (1985) vase by ceramic artist, TERAMOTO MAMORU. TERAMOTO was born in 1949 in Hiratsuka City in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. In 1975 he began studying with Kutani ceramicist, MATSUMOTO SAICHI. In 1976 he established his own kiln in Ibaraki Prefecture. He has exhibited throughout Japan and also in the US. This vase comes with TOMOBAKO, or original artist signed wooden storage box. The vase measures 14" long, 7 1/4" deep and 7" tall. (rudene)
