Japanese Taisho to early Showa Period comb and Kogai set. The base color is black with silver, gold and red lacquer with shell inlays. The design is plum branches and blossoms. Signed SHINKO on comb with kao and kao on kogai. The comb measures 3 5/8" wide, 1 13/16" tall and 1/8" thick. The kogai measures 6 1/16" long, 1/2" tall and 5/16" thick. (dene) |
