Description: Japanese mid 20th century bronze Okimono of a Guinea fowl by HORI JOSHIN (1907-1993). An exhibition piece from the 25th SHOKO SHOTEN Exhibition (Department of Commerse and Industry) in 1939. The Okimono comes with TOMOBAKO, or original artist signed wooden storage box. The Okimono measures 7 3/4" tall, 8" wide and 3 3/4" deep. (kadene)
