Description: Japanese mid 20th century lacquer box with fox and fern design by lacquer artist IZUMI ATSUHIKO. IZUMI was born in Niigata Prefecture in 1915 and died in April, 2005. He was active in the Tokyo area. The box measures 9 1/2" wide, 15 1/2" long and 7 1/2" tall. (doranesu)
