Description: Japanese lacquered KOGO by Living National Treasure artist, OTOMARU KODO. KODO was born in 1898 and died in 1997. He was designated as a Living National Treasure artist for his layered and carved lacquer techniques. The KOGO comes with TOMOBAKO or original artist signed wooden storage box. The KOGO measures 1 15/16" tall, 2 1/8" wide and 2 1/8" deep.
