Description: Japanese contemporary sculpture entitled 'KAIKI' - 'REVOLVING' by NISHIKATA RYOTA. The sculpture measures 16 1/2" tall, 11 1/2" wide and 9 1/2" deep. The artist was born on November 18, 1978. He is the son of fellow artist NISHIKATA TADASHI and they share a studio is Tsubame. He uses the TSUIKIDOKI technique of hand hammering traditionally used with copper. The piece comes with TOMOBAKO, original artist signed wooden storage box.
