Description: Japanese Meiji Period iron pot. This pot has the design of landscape and birds done in medium relief. The birds are done in silver and gold inlays. The handle also has silver inlaid birds flying above an etched wave pattern. Signed by artist, RYUBUNDO, on the back. Also stamp on base. This iron pot measures 8 1/4" tall, 6 1/2" wide by 5 1/2" diameter.
