Description: Japanese SUMIDAGAWA-ware figurine. Circa 1900. The figure is of 2 men fighting, done in wonderful detail and with great movement. The skin areas of the figures are done in unglazed ceramic, while the clothes, hair, finger and toe nails are glazed. Signed by artist, KOHKO ISHIGURO. Comes with original artist signed box. Figure stands 7" tall, 7" wide and 6" deep.
