Description: Japanese Meiji Period bronze vase. The gourd shaped vase has a realistically rendered frog crawling across the top section of the vase. The artist's signature plate has fallen off. The vase has a small bronze water holder that fits in and pulls out at the top. The vase measures 9 3/4" tall, 4 1/2" wide at the widest bottom section and 3 1/2" wide at the widest top section.
