Description: Japanese Meiji Period bronze vase with heron design. The vase has a single heron wading in the water next to a weeping willow. The heron is done in high relief. and leaves of the weeping willow are done in inlaid silver. There are also long blades of another plant next to the tree done in inlaid copper. The signature of the artist is also done in inlaid silver. It says CHIKA YOSHI SEI. Vase comes with storage box. The vase measures 12 1/4" tall, 1 3/4" in diameter at top and 3 1/4" in diameter at the base.
