Description: Japanese early 20th century bamboo serving tray. This type of serving tray is used for serving SENCHA sweets. Signed on the bottom, KOUNSAI. The basket is beautifully woven with different sized bamboo strips and whole stalks of bamboo. The basket measures 14" tall and has a 13" diameter. The tray part sits 4 3/8" about table height.
