Description: Japanese Meiji Period bronze SUMO wrestlers. They are in the KAWAZUGAKE position of SUMO wrestling, which means "hooking backward counter throw". Done in beautiful detail with superb expression. The MAWASHI strap that they are wearing are done in guilding. Signed MIYAO at bottom of the foot. Comes with original stand.
