Description: Japanese 19th Century gold lacquer bowl with lid. The bowl has the design of bamboo, camellias and other flowers and grasses done in a variety of lacquering techniques, such as TAKAMAKIE, HIRAMAKIE and NASHIJI. The bowl measures 7" tall by 8 1/2" diameter.
