Description: A Japanese MEIJI Period woman's tobacco pouch and KISERUZUTSU pipe case set. The pipe case is carved wood made to look like a truck of wood. The pouch is hand embroidered in brown tone threads in the Sagara style of embroidery. The clasp is in silver and mixed metal inlays in the shape of a plum blossom and bud. The flap is trimmed in leather. The OJIME is made of ivory. The pouch measures 3 5/8" wide and 2 1/2" tall. The pipe case measures 6 5/8" long and 1" wide.
